We have a range of bee-themed sessions for all ages. All our sessions are accompanied by documentation to support our services including links to the relevant learning frameworks. Upon booking you will receive:

  • Lesson Plan - so all educators know how the session will run

  • Risk Assessment - editable word document to be tailored to your service

  • Critical reflection tool - to aim in the all important reflection following the session

  • Flyer for printing or sharing with families

  • Educators pack to help educators integrate our sessions into their learning programs

Beekeeper Incursion for early learning centres

$395 - 45 Minute session (22 children)

Our unforgettable educational experience about the extraordinary world of beekeeping. Get ready to pull up your bee suits and explore the sweet wonders of the apiary through our live bee display, role playing the job of a beekeeper and get a jar of honey to take home and share with your family!

Beekeeper Incursion for Primary schools & OSHC

Starting from $20 per child - 30 children minimum

A more scientific exploration of bees including an in depth educational talk where we uncover some pretty amazing bee facts. Our frame of live bees come for a visit and the children partake in a honey extraction demonstration including pouring their own jar of honey to take home, role playing the career of a apiarist, tasting some of our creamed honey and eating honeycomb straight from the frame

Native Bee Incursion

$395 - 45 Minute session (22 children)

Need your stingless bee hive monitored and checked for pests and disease? We complete all our checks as a Native Bee Incursion and always with the children at the forefront. By sharing our expertise to check over the hive we look inside to monitor health and population of the bee and give guidance on how to support your hive into the future.

12 Month Program - Whole centre approach

All incursions are hosted by Amber who has over 12 years experience in the early childhood sector across multiple roles, from Lead Educator to Educational Leader and Montessori Directress.

Our bee incursions are delivered within the guidelines of the early years learning frame work and allow for each child to explore within their own supportive space.

Qualifications:

Certificate III in Children’s services (2012)

Diploma of Montessori Education (2016)

Certificate III in Beekeeping (2023)

Valid Blue Card
